Woven Braclets

So many people are wearing and making the "woven bracelet." This bracelet is a beautiful addition to any kind of fashion! The great part about these bracelets besides their beauty, is that they are DIY! Take a look at this video by Katrinaosity on Youtube to learn how to make one! This is a tutorial on how to make a ribbon jump ring bracelet. Enjoy!

Polymer Clay Dragons!

As some of you know, I LOVE polymer clay! Recently, I made a super cute dragon design and sculpted it! These little dragons are so fun to make, and you can do it too! The shop is "DragonsandBeasties" on Etsy and Youtube! She makes fantabulous dragon sculptures. These are my dragons that I have made so far!

These two images are by me.

These are in a way, complicated. You have to be skilled in sculpting a bit before trying this one. Check out DragonsandBeasties on Etsy!

Needle Felting Bliss!

Hello again my fellow fawns! Sorry I have been gone for such a long time! I know everyone has been on vacation ;) So, I have chosen this weeks topic on needle felting!

Needle Felting is pretty much taking wool and stabbing it with a needle until it forms a shape. People can sell needle felted animals for hundreds of dollars! Anyone can do it! This time I tried this craft. It was surprisingly, very easy! I bought a needle felting fox set off of Etsy, and it came with a DVD tutorial. The first picture is by SarafinaFiberArt. She sells this set on Etsy! The second picture is my fox that I tried with the kit! They are poseable too!

Wool is surprisingly low at price in my opinion! Sets cost more because they come with armature wire and extra detail material. But a nice hunk of wool (a batt) Is $10. This is 1.25oz

You can get smaller batts for less money. This set of colors would be about $6 This all together is 1.oz

I hope you try needle felting! Its very easy and anyone can do it!

Boring room?

Do you think you have a boring room? Is something missing? Follow these 3 easy steps and find out what your room really needs! All copyright goes to the rightful owners of the pictures. (Not me)

Step 1. Theme or color scheme?
First your room needs a little bit of an idea. Also you need a color scheme. Choose 2 or 3 colors that match each other! Something like blue and white or turquoise gold white, or hot pink white and black make good color combinations for a room. Also remember to include white with any few colors that you choose. Any color with white looks good!

Step 2. Furniture
You never want to have a huge bedroom with a little bit of furniture or a small room with tons of furniture. If you have a big room, you should go for more furniture. For a large room you should include a bed, a nightstand, some shelving units, and maybe a cute chair that matches! For a small room, you should try your best to put the least furniture you can into the space. If you have loads of furniture in a small space, you will make your room look cluttered and even smaller. Try to get rid of extra furniture that could be unnecessary like chairs, desks, lamps, bulky storage components, and maybe even your dresser.  I have a small room myself and I had to move my dresser out of it and I could just use my closet instead! Just play around with it.

Step 3. KEEP IT CLEAN!
Make SURE you can dedicate some time every day to do a quick tidy every night or so to keep things in check. If you have a nightstand, desk or dresser that eventually builds up a pile of random papers, clothes, or knick knacks, find a dedicated place for your papers, clothes, or knick knacks!
If you have a room full of piles, it won't look good. Take a look at some of these ideas on how to store some extra stuff neatly!

If you have homework or drawings laying around, use a binder! Use multiple binders!
Office supplies? Use one of these! If you want to make one, simple! Just get a clean and empty jar or soup can, cover it with paper, tie a bow around it that matches your color scheme and boom! A supply holder!

Jewelry clutter?

You could just buy a corkboard and put colored thumb tacks into it and call it a jewelry holder as well!

And never forget that shoeboxes are a girl's best friend!

I hope your room looks great! Thanks for reading and see ya next time!
